What does one have to do, e.g. to obtain a placenta nosode?
Speak to your midwife
First, you should inform your midwife that you want to have nosodes produced. To obtain a placenta nosode, for example, ask your midwife to cut out a pea-sized piece of the placenta near the beginning of the umbilical cord on the mother’s side and place it in our specimen shipping container.
Packaging and shipping of the source material
Please bear in mind that the source material can only be sent in using our special shipping containers and that this must be done in accordance with special guidelines. If these requirements are not observed, then no nosodes can be produced.
The specimen shipping container is a vial containing a preservative solution made of alcohol, glycerol and water. Here it is important that the vials be closed tightly to ensure that the material survives the transport without being damaged. The vials in turn are wrapped and shipped in a protective vessel made of plastic.
Shipping delays
If it is not possible to put the placenta into the specimen shipping container directly after the birth, it can be frozen first. The frozen piece of placenta can then be put into the solution later but it should not be unthawed. Putting the piece of placenta into the vial should be done under the utmost hygienic conditions (clean surroundings and materials, washed hands). As the placenta is a one-time gift, one should proceed with special care.
Pharmaceutical form
As the placenta nosodes are mainly used for infants and babies, they are preferred in globule form. To satisfy all needs, it is advisable to use various strengths. With the strengths D6, D8, D12, D20 und D30, one is equipped for many situations.
However, there is also the possibility of producing a dilution (ingestible drops, containing alcohol) or globules in any required strength (to D200 / C200). The production of C-strengths to C30 is also possible. Many mothers also have us produce a master dilution of a lower strength (D3) in addition to the globules, so that they could have more globules produced at a later time.
