Placenta nosodes are homeopathic drugs. Thus, the treatment is individual for every person. The quantity and frequency for taking homeopathic drugs depends on various factors: from the affected organisms ability to react, the severity of the clinical picture, as well as the strength of the drug.
Thus, the individual dosage recommended by the therapist is decisive. If no recommendation has been given, then you should follow the dosage recommendations shown below.
Only low strengths such as D4/C4 D6/C6 or medium strengths such as D12/C12 should be used for treatments that you undertake on your own initiative.
Grownups take low strengths on an hourly basis for acute disorders, 5 10 globules from the onset of the disorder until it improves. Then 5 10 globules 3x daily. It is important to reduce the frequency for taking the drug once an improvement is noted! With medium strengths, you take 5-10 globules 1-2 times daily.
The following dosage instructions apply for children:
If you have chosen the correct placenta nosode, there should be a distinct improvement in the symptoms after a few days or after a few hours if the symptoms are acute.
You should only take placenta nosodes as long as you have symptoms.
If the therapy is successful, i.e. the symptoms have disappeared completely, discontinue taking the placenta nosodes immediately. If the symptoms increase greatly after commencing with the treatment (also referred to as the initial reaction or initial deterioration) discontinue with the placenta nosodes and seek further clarification from a therapist.
If you have been using the placenta nosodes successfully for a period of time, but the treated symptoms return, the condition remains static or worsens again, you need to discontinue taking the homeopathic drug as well.
This might be an indicator that you need a different homeopathic drug.
Allow the globules to melt slowly in the mouth. For infants and small children, place the globules between the lower lip and the bottom row of teeth. This circumvents the swallowing reflex.
No, not in general! Especially not if coffee or tea is enjoyed on a regular basis before commencing with the homeopathic treatment.
A radical change in everyday habits is not compulsory for the success of the homeopathic treatment. Suddenly stopping and the resulting indisposition can have a negative effect on the success of the treatment.
You should however maintain a space of about half an hour between taking the homeopathic drugs and drinking coffee or tea, brushing your teeth and having meals (as these frequently contain spices/essential oils). As a rule, no interference with the active ingredients should be expected if this is done.
Strongly mentholated products such as mouthwash, unctions or even candy containing menthol as well as chewing gum should be completely avoided during the period the homeopathic therapy is in use. Experience has shown that strongly mentholated products can interfere with the effect of homeopathic drugs.
According to Samuel Hahnemann (Wikipedia >>), one should live healthily while undergoing homeopathic treatment and one should avoid everything that is "bothersome" such as stress (emotional and physical), stimulants (e.g. menthol...), too little exercise, too little fresh air.
Hahnemann also recommends his patients to do everything in moderation. This refers mainly to nutrition and the use of stimulants such as alcohol, coffee and cigarettes.
Today, we know that healthy living is important, not only for the homeopathic treatment, but in general, to support recovery as well as to prevent illnesses.
This shows that Hahnemann already employed holistic treatment methods in his days. At that time, Samuel Hahnemann was not recognized within the circle of his colleagues for his therapeutic approach.
Almost all homeopathic drugs can be used along with other therapies (along with traditional medicine as well as with other alternative therapies such as acupuncture).
The package insert will point out any side effects for the few homeopathic drugs where these are known.
If you do not notice an improvement after a few days or after a few hours with acute conditions (such as high fever, pain), then discontinue taking the homeopathic drug.
In addition, visit a doctor or practitioner of alternative medicine in order to ascertain what further treatment may be required or to select the proper homeopathic drug.
The following information shows you that the use of homeopathic drugs can be disregarded in the calculation of your daily carbohydrate exchange units, provided the recommended dosage is observed.
One carbohydrate exchange unit (BE) equals 12g
of carbohydrates.
1 globule contains 0.0082 g of carbohydrates
1 globule
has 0.00069 BE
1450 globules equal 1 BE.
